Manufacturing Informatization is the breakthrough point of rebuilding the traditional industry with information technology and realizing industrialization drove by informatization. Regional manufacturing informatization is a significant advancing tactic in the manufacturing informatization of our country. How to boost regional manufacturing informatization engineering efficiently becomes the imminent question which needs to be thought and settled nowadays. So accompanied with the characteristics of regional manufacturing informatization engineering project, regional, government leading, scheming, integrative, dynamic and so on, this paper makes a research on the mode of project management of regional manufacturing informatization engineering, with the theory and method of project management.Firstly, it analyzes the project characteristics of regional manufacturing informatization engineering and the hierarchy of regional manufacturing informatization engineering project .Then; it researches the characteristics of regional manufacturing informatization engineering project and makes requirements analysis about the project management of regional manufacturing informatization engineering.After that, it researches the mode of project management of regional manufacturing informatization engineering. And it researched the operation mode of the three layers separately.Based on the research about the mode of project management of regional manufacturing informatization engineering, it designs the supporting platform of project management of regional manufacturing informatization engineering.The outcome of this paper has been applied in manufacturing informatization engineering of Chongqing, and forms a set of special mode of project management during its application. The author develops the supporting platform of project management of regional manufacturing informatization engineering of Chongqing, which gets good effect.
