Against the background of saturated power-force manufacturing marketing in China,there will be lots of risks in the power station boiler industry marketing. Thus many relatedenterprises will be forced to confront risks brought by changing project plans. At the sametime, risks which caused by changing project plans in boiler manufacturing industry can bedecreased by a desirable and feasible project plan management and production managementsoftware. Meanwhile the information bridge across several projects can be built to improvethe information generation level and practical values when combined with existing enterprisesinformation systems and collecting several separated information database. On this basis,establishing information platform for planing and implementation of project production inboiler manufacturing industry, plus supporting PNP (Plug and Play) components andstandardized code system, will express its project management concept of caring aboutconsumers and adhering to catching up with the time of delivery.Project Plan Management System in boiler manufacturing industry is designedespecially for Shanghai Boiler Co., Ltd. According to the characteristics of its power stationmanufacturing unit, which mainly aims at basic data, planing, ongoing project, informationfeedback. The module of basic data mainly implement addition and correction of the projectand components basic information. The module of planing mainly implements scheme andarrangement of various categories of plan based on concerns of the project. The module of project execution mainly implements the plan based on the project and gathering executioninformation. The module of information feedback mainly provides information and feedbackin the process of project implementation for the internal and external parties.This paper will be further studied and explained towards the requirement analysis,system design, accomplishment and testing of codes and implementation and so on. Inrequirement analysis, functional needs and unit process analysis of the project planmanagement system in boiler manufacturing industry are mainly introduced and systemsfunction diagram and system flow chart are used to describe systematic cross-linked relationand unit process. In system design, developing platform, B/S (Browser/Server) form anddeveloping pattern of three-layer structure are decided and designing process in databasestructure and interface design are elaborated by data flow graph, Entity Relationship Diagram(E-R diagram) and physical data model diagram (PDM). The system has used the workingprocess of three-layer structure, which mainly include the call of WebForm and controller inpresentation layer,the implementation of class and LIST in business controller, SQL storingprocess and data interface in data access layer are listed as examples.The practical implementation and effect of the project plan management system in boilermanufacturing industry is introduced in the last part. At present, this system has been used inShanghai Boiler Co., Ltd., which meets series of business requirement of project managementand greatly develop the business capacity and management level.
