Many enterprises have the intention of applying remote monitor system supported by network for their own developments. Aluminum rolling mill is a kind of machinery equipment in aluminum industry. The quality of aluminum piece depends on the running reliability of this equipment immensely. Once there is a failure, the maintenance cost increases at the same time. The remote monitoring technology capture device’s working state in real time, then record the collected information. Workers can avoid some troubles based on the collected information, this will help to safety production.According to an aluminum mill production enterprise’s requirement in network and immediacy, start from the key technology of Industrial Ethernet and analyze problems of Ethernet applied to industrial field such as immediacy, communication time delay, stability, security, etc. According to the requirements of the company a remote monitoring system based on industrial Ethernet has designed. Host computer of the monitoring system uses Industrial Ethernet to realize communicating with slave computer. PLC of this monitoring system is from German Siemens company’s S7-300 series PLC which is responsible for the monitoring of industrial field devices.This paper briefly introduces the selection of the PLC hardware and configuration,the key of the paper is the implementation of the open Ethernet communication and how to guarantee data transmission accurately and stability. In addition,it introduces the realization methods and realization process of SMS alarm monitoring system.When the industry field device failure occurs,the fault information will be sent to the relevant staff’s phone so that he can know the fault and make corresponding response quickly.Monitoring software is developed by Visual C# and uses socket network programming technology based on TCP/IP to realize the Ethernet communication between monitoring software and PLC.In addtion,the acquisition parameters of the devices must be stored in order to facilitate ready access to historical data and provide the basis for the generation of parametric curve.As the same time,it uses icon graphical component Tee Chart of Steema Software company to control design curve monitoring function, that is good for more accurate data analysis through the trend towards.The remote monitoring system based on industrial Ethernet could meet the needs of enterprise in network and instantaneity. It realizes the function of remote monitoring and capturing the data of industrial field immediacy in real time, and the function of remote transmission. Through making some improvements of the monitoring system, the remote monitoring system based on Industrial Ethernet has come into service in industrial scene, which is greatly helped for technicians, it brings economic benefits as well. |
