Combustible Gas Alarm is a kind of essential production equipments in mining enterprises, public security and environmental protection and so on. One kind of combustible gas alarm is designed so as to automatically and continuously detect combustible gas in industrial production sites in several positions accurately and effectively.This combustible gas alarm, which has function of display of density of combustible gas and sound-light alarm, realized remote detection of combustible gas in industrial production sites and sends the data of detected to the PC through the ethernet interface.Assignments of the author include several aspects:1. Design of Hardware: The design of hardware about Microprocessor Control Module, Signal Acquisition and Amplifier Module and Ethernet Interface Module is completed. In the design, alarm adopted the high performance microprocessor LPC2214 as main chip of the Microprocessor Control Module, and the Signal Acquisition and Amplifier Module is composed of catalytic combustion of gas sensors and precision instrumentation amplifier AD623, and the RTL8019AS as the ethernet controller with external circuit, which is supported by External Memory Controller of LPC2214, makes up Ethernet Interface Module.2. Design of Software: The embedded operating systemμC/OS-II and the TCP/IP protocol stack uIP running on the LPC2214 constitute a development platform of application of combustible gas alarm. According to the analysis of function of the system and the basic requirements of task decomposition, the software of the system is compartmentalized into several modules of function such as Monitor Mutton, LED Display, Real-time Clock, Signal Acquisition, Alarm Control and Parameter Setting. This combustible gas alarm is completed by 7 tasks ofμC/OS-II through calling the corresponding basal library functions of these modules after they are exploited.Finally, debugging and testing project is put forward and the error of the system is analysed.The designed project provides a kind of method and applied example which can be used for reference to design of industrial devices based on industrial ethernet.
