As the Made in China 2025 has been proposed,it is pointed out that digital,networking,intelligence and a sharp rise in the manufacturing industry informatization level are the main tendency and objective of a new round industrial revolution.The research and plan of intelligent manufacturing are widely practiced into manufacturing enterprises.At present,most discrete manufacturing enterprises in Xinjiang are still in a traditional production mode,there exit lots of information islands led to the disconnection between upper management and lower production,low efficiency and poor real-time data collection by manual work can not satisfy the increasing demand of the production capacity.In this paper,Internet of Things technologies are gradually and widely being applied in many fields on the basis of the Internet.The real-time and automated data collection,including automated recognition,tracking,positioning and real-time monitoring to the production equipment and production processes could be achieved by putting the two core technology of IOT,wireless sensor network(WSN)and radio frequency identification(RFID)into discrete manufacturing workshop,which will provide a strong basis of decision analyzing for upper management.Integrating domestic and international scholars' study on the smart factory,the reference architecture and construction paths of smart factory are proposed through analyzing the IOT technology and its application in the manufacturing workshop,and point out that Industrial IOT and intelligent workshop are the basis and core component of the smart factory.The overall architecture and theoretical model of this system,including the function structure model,the business process model and the architecture model of the system are designed on the basis of analyzing the present status and practical demands of discrete manufacturing enterprise in Xinjiang.Industrial IOT in manufacturing workshop,including the networking of NC equipment in the workshop,wireless sensor network,radio frequency identification network and the integration of them are designed and set up on the basis of analyzing the technical principles of IOT and the specific implementation methods applied to manufacturing workshop.The methods and principles of real-time data collection and products monitoring and tracking in workshop are proposed based on WSN,RFID and DNC technique,provided technical theory support and network basis for the design of the system software.The product-centered entity-relationship model(E-R model)of the system data,including the static data like the basic properties of products and the dynamic data like the information in manufacturing process is built.Logical structure model of system database is designed according to the E-R model,and the foreign key constraints among the data tables are established to build the relationship and structures of the database.Finally,a C/S architecture system,composed of five modules: warehousing management,DNC,workshop monitoring,product tracking and statistical analysis is developed with Java using tools like Eclipse and SQL server 2005 based on the idea of modularization design.Functions like collection and tracking of manufacturing process data,monitoring and tracking of workshop and products were realized.Problems like information islands among the departments,separation between upper management and lower production as well as limitation of real-time data collection and processing were solved.Purpose like enhancing the utilization of equipment,reducing the costs and improving the productivity were achieved.It also can improve workshop informationzation and intelligentization level.
