In order to deal with these problems including the low transparency in assembly process of mechanical products, difficulties of material information collection, the inefficiency of material distribution and the poor information interaction in distribution process, based on combining with the Internet of Things technology, regarding mechanical product assembly system as the basic research object, real-time sensory information-enabled dynamic material delivery method(RSI-DMDM) is proposed in this paper.First, the brief introduction to the workshop logistics and material distribution is provided and the research significance is also elaborated in this article, on the basis of the analysis of current material delivery modes, the dynamic material delivery mode based on MES system and Internet of things technology is proposed. Secondly, through classifying workshop materials, a method for building station zone based on the improved division rules for material supermarket is put forward, the distribution demand and delivery time window are identified by each station material information element, the dynamic material distribution model based on virtual delivery station zone is constructed. As such, the material delivery times can be reduced and the efficiency of material delivery can be improved by the model operation. Then, key technologies to implement dynamic material delivery model (material coding and identification, perception and fusion and material ANDON visualization technology based on fieldbus) are studied. The bar code and RFID encoding rules are mainly designed, and a sensor network configuration model and information fusion process system is also built. Moreover, the material multiple sampling method and multi-heterogeneous data perception and integration based on middleware are elaborated, making full use of the Internet of things technology to monitor material delivery process real-time and fully. Finally, Taking a university-enterprise cooperation project as a platform, the prototype system of the workshop dynamic material delivery system based on MES and the Internet of things technology is developed and the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper are verified.
