The Research And Application Of Embedded Gateway In Intelligent Cigarette Manufacturing Workshop

Abstract:Along with Chinese economy integrating with the world market increasingly quickly, the competition among tobacco enterprises becomes fiercer. In order to ensure tobacco enterprises’sustainable, stable and healthy development, technical innovation is the inevitable way. For Chinese tobacco enterprises implementing the "cigarette production and management decision-making management system", the intelligent cigarette manufacturing workshop provides the underlying technical support. It solves the problem of real-time production data acquisition. Embedded gateway played a key role in the intelligentize workshop. It can bring a variety of heterogeneous embedded devices network connected to the Internet, realize the remote real-time measurement and control equipment. Therefore, studing the application of embedded gateway in the cigarette intelligent workshop is a subject which has practical application value.Based on the technology needs of cigarette enterprise, after deeply studing the embedded Internet, embedded WEB server and CGI technology etc, the protocols of the embedded gateway are analyzed, the hardware and softeware plateform of embedded gateway are designed and implemented. The gateway realizes the convesion between the TCP/IP protocol stack and CAN bus protocol, wireless sensor network protocol. That makes the operator can use browser not only to remote query and control cigarette manufacturing equipments, but also to real-time monitor the environment temperature, relative humidity, gas concentration etc. The software of gateway based on embedded Linux operating system. The multi-process mechanism is brought in for the gateway. The high efficiency application software is designed.The implementation fuctions of embedded gateway are tested. The results show that the gateway can realize remote measurement and control the equipment and working environment of cigarette workshop, and the real-time performance is good. This can help raise the level of intelligent of cigarette manufacturing and improve the quality of producte.
