In recent years,with the rapid development of manufacturing,non-standard equipment is used in mechanical equipment more and more widely,it brings opportunities and challenges to non-standard enterprises,especially in non-standard components and parts design,there have been issues such as the lackof design methods which can be used directly,reference data and practice data,resulting in the entire design process is long,manufacturing costs is high.In order to solve the above problems effectively,this paper establishes non-standard parts library and parametric design ideas to generate non-standard parts model for enterprises.Based on the research of CATIA software,the characteristic modeling technology,the secondary development technology of CATIA software and the Access database technology are taken as the development method.Visual Basic6.0 is selected as the development platform of the system.Combining with the enterprise demand,Parametric Design System of Parts Library is designed.In this paper,first of all the parametric design idea,design method and design flow of the non-standard parts library are studied,which provides the theoretical basis for the development of parametric design system of non-standard parts library.Aiming at the classification problem existing in the parts library of the enterprise,the non-standard part library is divided into four levels according to the classification.Secondly,the key technologies are studied,such as CATIA secondary development technology,VB secondary development of CATIA and Access database technology.And build templates of all non-standard components in the non-standard parts library,as well as design calculation data table,non-standard part data sheet and non-standard product data sheet.Finally,based on the theoretical basis and key technology,the paper develop non-standard parts library parametric design system for Changchun Heshin Machinery Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.,and the non-standard parts library system is introduced with examples.The practice proves that the design of the non-standard parts can shorten the design cycle and reduce the manufacturing cost,and further prove the correctness and validity of the theory and key technology in this paper.
