This paper studies a three-dimensional parametric modeling technology based onthe wing structure parts, the subject is a pre-research topic of the national "twelve-five"project.Since there is a lot of similarity and normative modeling issues in the aircraft wingmodeling design work. Through the analysis of a type fighter wing structure, propose aparametric design method of the typical components inside the wing. Use CAA and theVisualStudio2005platform to do the secondary development for the widely used in theaviation field CATIA software. Namely through the development of benchmarks basedon geometric modeling templates and the template-model repository achieve theparametric design system of the wing parts.Paper summarized the composition of wing structure. Structure is divided intoordinary machine parts, structural machine parts, sheet metal parts, profiles and typicalcharacteristics. Also summarized the characteristic composition, modeling reference aswell as geometric parameters for various parts. Combined with the aviation industrystandards and norms, put the modeling process of each components in the form oflanguages and package them in the program to form a modeling template. Template andmodel library keep various parts of the modeling templates together, through interactivewindow the user can query the information about the specific part template. At the sametime the existing models can be achieved on a preview and reused. In system applications, the base model of cuffs sheet metal rib and features adding, illustrate the results of this study meet the expectations, improve design quality, reduceduplication of effort and shorten the product development cycle effectively.
