From ancient times to now, the"Three Rural" problem of China has not been fundamentally resolved,the problem of agriculture is closely related to the vital benefit of farmers,in addition, it affects the growth of national economy. Comrade Deng Xiaoping once pointed out that science and technology are the primary productive forces, to solve the "Three Rural" problem,the developing of science and technology is an important factor.Today, the world gets into the era of Internet sharing times,network technology has been in all corners of society, a big revolution is imperative.The introduction and use of new media and new Internet concepts in rural areas is conducive to the comprehensive reform of Chinese agriculture.Thatthe knowledge and experience of agriculture will be passed on to the farmers conveniently and quickly, so that the farmers can understand and practice into the productive forces vigorously promotes the pace of Chinese rural construction.New media technology is a new product, which has the characteristics of wide spread, high efficiency and fast speed,from the development of new media technology in other areas,its application in the field of agricultural extensionwill bring the immediate results, but also will lead to a new round of reform. However, that the new media is firmly settled in rural areas, both in theory and in practice, has many questions to be solved.In the first place, this paper discusses the backdrop of the topic, discusses the severity of agricultural development, the application of new media technology and its development prospect in the field of agriculture, state the purpose and significance of the researchand the content of the research and the research methods, further explains its innovation. Secondly, it explains the key words in this article,by using the comparative method, the article compares the new media communication and traditional agriculturalcommunion,then, it discusses the application of new media in agricultural communication. Thirdly, it discusses the advantages and problems of the new media in the agricultural communication, discussing the reasons for the problems of new media in agricultural communication, and from the United States, Japan, India and other countries in the application of new media in the dissemination of agriculture, sumup some inspirations to our country. Finally, the article puts forward some suggestions to promote the application of new media in agricultural communication from four aspects.
