Together with newspaper,broadcast,and television,the network media has become an vital media in our daily life,which people calls the "new media".The appearance of internet has a great influence on our life.A majority of netizens can use the new media platforms skillfully now,and these new media platforms have become an irreplaceable part in our life.The "web star" gradually stepped into the public,and then stand out in such visual environment,and became famous and influential celebrities on the internet surprisingly.They can also attract click rate,and their names become one of the words that have highest click rate.This thesis analyzed the hot phenomenon of "web star" in the new media environment.The research methods and theories of communications studies are used to support the author's ideas,to analyze the phenomenon of "web star",to study its future states and development trends,and also to make a contribution to the future studies of "web star".The literature research method,the content analysis method,the questionnaire method the empirical research method,and the experience summarization method are used in this thesis.The author read many literatures and studies,used communication theories to analyzed the foundation of "web star" phenomenon.Then the author used the Harold Lasswell's "5W" communicative mode to analyze the phenomenon of "web star" specificly.This thesis also observed and recorded some data of "web star" ' start,types,development to do an empirical analysis.The author used survey method to do direct analysis of "web star" ' phenomenon,chose example to analyze the media's attitude to "web star" and it's influence on society.At last,the author summarized the data and social practice examples and forecasted the development trends and future trends of "web star".The key points are put in chapter three,four and five.Chapter three uses the Harold Lasswell's "5W" communicative mode to analyze the " web star " phenomenon from the aspect of propagating source,medium,audience,communication content,and communication effects.Chapter four gives examples of "web star" who commit a crime to verify aesthetic disappearance and medium 's weakness of this phenomenon.Chapter five combines characteristics of new "web star " and the economic value of "web star" to study revolution of new media,and predicted their development trends.Atlast,the author made a conclusion that the new media and "web star" depend on each other,media is weak on identify information,the audience of media effects the audience of "web star ",the further five development trends of "web star ",and so on.The author hopes this thesis can become a basic and helpful reference for the further studies of "web star ".
