This dissertation studies the television media mode under the context of social medium, and it will focus on which is based on the previous domestic and foreign research in new old medium. This paper will explore the future mode of development of the television media.The body of the thesis consists of three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion.The introduction explains the background, the aim, the meaning, the objective, the method, theoretical guidance and the innovation of the research.The main body of the thesis includes four chapters. The first chapter elaborates the conception of the social medium, including the definition of the feature and the research of the evolution, as well as the respond and question to the saying about "dying television". When the social media is influencing the television media, the two is also subtly mixing and learning from each other at the same time, and this phenomenon is related to the differences of the forms between the two kinds of medium. The second chapter is concentrating on the evolution of the traditional television media mode under the context of the social media. The traditional television media mode is a closed media system based on the monopoly of resources, while under the context of social media, the television begins to connect with the computer and telephone. In terms of the distributing content, the transform from the "time" to the "space" results in the discretization of the content, the multi-polarization of the methods, the transition of the aesthetic interest from the mass to the customization, and the development of receiving method into the stage of multi-screen viewing. The third chapter analyzes the realistic roots of the transforms of the television media mode. The development of digital technology and multi-media technology equip the social media to content with the television media. The change of role as the negative to the positive audience provides the necessity of the transition of the television media mode.In addition, the transformation of the national and economic system is one of the factors. The fourth chapter makes a bold prediction to the development of the future television media mode, and analyzes the possibilities of the influence in the media ecology and the social life brought by the media revolution. Obviously, it’s easy to see kinds of confusion existing in the media dominated by the technology that is mainly performing as the Media Polio and information overload.The conclusion is the sublimation and complement of the thesis, absorbing the theoretical results by Peiren Shao, McLuhan and other communication scholars, demonstrating that sticking in the mud or cutting the feet to fit the shoes is not reasonable after the verification of long communication history.
