Chinese network nationalism has been developing for almost 20 years since the.1990s.With the change of the domestic and international environment and the maturity of the Internet technology,the Chinese network nationalism is changing constantly.With the development of social media such as QQ,Tieba,Weibo,Wechat,the openness degree of China's network environment is getting higher and higher.People has found a new communication space in real life.In this space,they can share opinions,participate in national diplomacy and hot event discussions freely and independently,thus a "nationalist community." has been formed.In this era which social media becomes relatively mature,the role played by network nationalists and the way of discourse expression are showing different characteristics-compared with the past.From Diba hitting Facebook with massive discussion at the beginning of the 2016,to Nanhai arbitration in July,and then to the"Honghuang girl" Fu Yuanhui and other athletes going viral at the Rio Olympic Games in August,every patriotic ceremony of the carnival are expressing national consensus and collective sentiment.As acollective expression of the discourse,network nationalism shows its own characteristics,and presents commonness in these three events.From the Zhou Ziyu incident triggered a collective expedition of the"emperor youth",to the multi-subject who united to protest against in the South China Sea arbitration case,as well as the patriotic youth with the game style during the Rio Olympic Games.The performance of "little pink" who were mainly born after the 1990s become particularly noticeable.They creatively used the meme&scripts,exaggerated video,online songs and other new forms to make a variety of intense or entertaining remarks on Weibo,QQ,WeChat and other social platforms,to expressed their own opinions with good humor but without losing the patriotic feelings and firm stand.The government,the general public and the media play different roles in the three network nationalist events.Some of them become the subject of network nationalist action to promote the process of network nationalist events directly or participation or onlookers.And some support and propaganda network nationalist action and public opinion indirectly,and guide the trend of network nationalist events through their own strong influence as well.In different events,The changes of strength of the network nationalist position and relationship had an important impact to the development of nationalism at this stage.On the one hand,the author intends to use the "process-event analysis" research method to analyse the three typical nationalist events,grasp the characteristics of the networked nationalist public opinion in the social media era overall,and the form of public opinion discourse by the different subjects—the public on Internet,the government and mainstream media presented.On the other hand,the author mainly takes the users of social media platforms as a research perspective,combined with text analysis and content analysis,to explain how the "little pink" who were mainly born after the 1990s presented a sense of national ideological and Patriotism tactics in each event,and which kind of nationalist discourse style they embodied.Meanwhile,considering from the perspective of the attitude of the official government,the interaction between the mainstream media and the network of public opinion,Theauthor analyzed the differences between the nationalist discussions formed by different subjects in the event,and the relationship between the patriotic public opinion of the "little pink" group and the nationalist discourse of the mainstream media.Through the analysis of the integrity and individuality of the three trending news events,it can be seen that,with the highly development of social media nowadays,the diversity of network culture decide the diversity of evaluation values of the youth..With the prosperity of Tieba,Weibo,Zhihu and other social media platform,the crowd of "90s young people" who have received high-quality education and is familiar with western culture is expanding rapidly.They inject new vigor and vitality into the development of network ethnic nationalism.Although there are some irrational voices from time to time,most of the public opinion and attitude are entertainment and rational in general.Network users crowd that mainly consisted by the youth keeps trying to participate with initiative action and personal expression,showing a strong public nationalism discourse power,and building a new type of network of nationalist public opinion ecological pattern in the exchange of public opinion and interaction with the official,mainstream media.
