The thesis targets at the media communication phenomenon of the military review of the 70th anniversary of Anti-Japanese victory War, analyzing the characteristics and influences of how media report the military review through a way of collective memory.The first part of the thesis illustrates the meaning of celebration being the constructions of collective memory and the relationships between the construction and media through the research view of Social Psychology as well as Communication. The second part selects the military review of the 70th anniversary of Anti-Japanese War victory as an example to clarify its collective memory appeal. Through a way of text analysis on the communication method and agenda content of network media, some changes has been on to the modes of collective memory reporting of celebration activities. The third part discusses the experiences and enlightenment through this new form of memory writing.It is the media that help construct collective memory of national country. Through precise analysis, the thesis draws a conclusion that the development of network media is influencing the process of collective memory construction. It allows the public to gain their right of discourse and consciously participate in the memory writing, strengthening the identities as being a member of our nation as well as national coercion. However, there also appears some irrational and zealot emotions of nationalism within the constructions, which is a dangerous phenomenon that worth being alert.
