Research On The Media Construction Of Female Gender Discourse In "Freedom Talk On The Shun Pao"(1937-1945)

"Free Talk on The Shun Pao was published in the early years of the Republic of China.As one of the most influential literary supplements in China's early days,it is a post-literary garden for progressive writers.The study used qualitative and quantitative analysis and other methods to explore the historical environment of national liberation,women ' s liberation,and the resurgence of war and national salvation.In the interweaving of feminism,patriarchal awareness,and the elements of the times,The Evolution of Women's Gender Discourse and Its Media Construction in Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao from 1937 to 1945.First,we should sort out the narrative context of gender discourse in the“Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao” from the four dimensions of politics,society,media,and culture,and then select typical female articles on “Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao ” to conduct text analysis,focusing on gender-specific operations on specific strategies.Focusing on examining the professional roles,reporting issues,and themes of women among them,we found that the "Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao" mainly constructed gender discourses with femininity from four levels: First,to lead women's liberating thoughts;Second,to the traditions.The discussion of women's beauty;Third,the formation of a public opinion field for women's marital problems;Fourth,the discussion of women's social roles.To compare the evolution of gender discourse in the “ Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao” before and after the full-scale war of resistance,using the quantitative methods of SPSS statistical analysis,using the content analysis method to do a holistic analysis of the femininity of the “Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao” layout and a large number of women ' s reports.Seeing that before the full-scale war of resistance,the gender discourse of “ Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao ” aimed at reversing women ' s thinking and guiding women ' s behavior,and continued the personal writing of the May 4th liberation of women;after the full-scale war of resistance,the focus of the report has shifted to reflect the war.The shaping function of female gender roles.The issue of media coverage has achieved a turn toward the nation's national discourse.From the perspective of the interaction between gender discourse and the mass media,we found that the “Free Talk” involving women's news reporting discourse truly reproduced wartime scenes,microscopically its news structure,and shaped the images of women ' s warfare resistance in the text,coinciding with newspapereditorial guidelines.It spreads the spirit of active anti-Japanese warfare and uses a variety of genres such as essays and novels in context to achieve a strong communication effect on audiences through exaggeration in rhetorical style.In the process of news production,China has a hard time making headlines.The suspension of periodical publication has continued.“ Freedom Talk.on The Shun Pao” still insists on the value of freedom of press speech and builds a media world in which the whole nation is struggling to resist the war and save itself.
