With the rapid development of the network and even mature,China's educate information network equipment will also change in many regions.This puts forward some requirements for the information literacy of the students in our country.By reading the literature on Information Literacy Education at home and abroad,the author finds that the practice of information literacy education in primary schools is poor.Based on the BIG6 models and information literacy training at home and abroad related literature research,Summarizes the basic steps of BIG6 teaching mode and the two aspects of information literacy: the external technology ability and the internal social ability.This study was conducted in two classes of grade four in Shahe School,Shenyang City.A new teaching mode that combining BIG6 and natural science course,Before and after the teaching activities,the two groups of experimental group and control group were measured before and after the questionnaire.The experimental group students' information literacy,including traditional literacy,media literacy,computer literacy and network literacy,is effectively improved;Through the research method of learning diary,interview,observation and so on,the experimental group students' ability in information literacy,including the ability of critical thinking?cooperative learning ability and independent learning ability,is effectively improved.
