In the age of information globalization today, information literacy has become a necessary skill in research, learning and even in daily life .The importance of information literacy education has become increasingly prominent. Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education published in 2000 has become the worldwide fact standard of information literacy education and has been used to guide various types of information literacy education. Meanwhile, in order to combine education and entertainment, people use game to carry out information literacy education. There have been some research results about information literacy educational game. In 2015, ACRL promulgated Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education as the latest edition of the information literacy education guidance standard in colleges and universities. In order to apply the framework to information literacy educational game and other forms of information literacy education,the interpretation of the framework is the key. Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives have been widely and maturely used in subject education. Therefore, we uses the revised version of Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives to interpret the framework constructs an information literacy educational game model according to the interpretation results and tests the model. We hope that the model can be used to guide the designing and development of information literacy education and information literacy educational game.The paper mainly includes following seven parts.The first chapter is the introduction. This part summarizes the research background and significance of this paper, explores the research status at home and abroa of the framework, the information model of information literacy, the educational game model,the information literacy educational game model, then expounds research contents,methods and innovations of this paper.The second chapter is a brief analysis on the framework, including its theoretical basis, the main content, superiority compared to the previous version named Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education and its owi limitations. Analysis of this part is served for the design of latter model.The third chapter eloborates the contents of Bloom's taxonomy like the structure of objectives, the superiority of the taxonomy, the specific content of the two dimensions of the taxonomy, and the structural characteristics of the taxonomy.The fourth part extracts three target levels of objectives and assigns objective types to those objectives on the basis of previous parts and constructs an objective type distribution graphic which reflects the distribution of those objectives in taxonomy. Then,we constructs a new model named information literacy educational game model combined the objective type distribution graphic with previous information literacy educational game model.The fifth chapter designs and develops an information literacy educational game called Pet Clinic according to the built model.The sixth chapter recruits students to test the game. Test results show that the game is benefit for learning and entertainment and the information literacy educational objective and game model is a scientific and effective.The seventh chapter is the conclusion. This chapter expounds the deficiencies of the paper and puts forward future work.
