The Research On The Communication Of Alternative Science Content In Chinese Newspapers And Periodicals

Newspapers and periodicals are important traditional medium, are also important channels for the public to obtain scientific information. The research adopts literature analysis, content analysis and statistics analysis research methods, researches and analyses our country main newspapers (party newspaper, metropolis daily and professional newspapers) and journals conduct in the classification, selects date from October 2009 to September 2010 of newspapers and periodicals samples, through all of the analysis, combines with the spreading of alternative science research both at home and abroad, defines four aspects of nature of science of alternative science contents in newspapers and periodicals, including report object being not approved by mainstream science or government, report object being not accredited of the basic paradigm of scientific community, report object reaching a consensus in scientific community but still disputing, report object Reported violating general recognition rules and common sense, analyses the attributes and characteristics of alternative science communication in newspapers and periodicals.The research analyses the status quo and characteristics of alternative science contents communication in newspapers and periodicals, concludes some features of alternative science communication in newspapers and periodicals as follows, the fuzziness and the singularity of content types, the diversity and uncertainty of information source, the deficiency of audiences, the relativity of economic interest and the imperfect of science communication institutions and system, according to the features of alternative science content, think contents of alternative science communication, puts forward four strategies as follows:the scientific community should strengthen their ability of science communication, the public should ascend the ability of citizen's scientific literacy and the public understanding of science, the competent departments should strengthen policy regulation and management system construction.
