Reading therapy is a kind of method to maintain body and mind through reading.In the long process of human history,unconscious application of the reading therapy goes back to ancient times;today,the librarians,psychological counselors,doctors,social workers and other industry personnel has also gradually realized the importance of reading therapy and started to include it in work.University students are the future of our motherland,their physical and mental health which is closely related with psychological capital is about our modernization construction.Psychological capital is the positive and developmental state of an individual,it can help to relieve stress,increase the positive emotional experience,and stimulate their potential,to make university students better realize self-worth and contribute strength for the development of society in their studies and future works.This thesis combines reading therapy and psychological capital,devoting to address two issues:can reading therapy enhance the level of university students'psychological capital and why it can or can not.For the first issue,a group experiment was designed;in the experiment,30 subjects were grouped by questionnaire into interaction group,bibliography group and control group which were intervened by different ways,and subjects would accept post-experiment questionnaire after 6 weeks.Compared the formal measured data with the latter measured data to produce the empirical results.As to the second question,interview was used for gathering data and a qualitative data analysis software named Nvivo was utilized to assist in coding and analyzing,to dig into the factors of reading therapy on psychological capital,and based on which the research tried to build a mechanism model of reading therapy.The thesis consists of six parts:(1)The first part mainly introduces the background,the objectives,significance,frame structure,research methods,the difficulty and innovation of this text,and the literature review of research on reading therapy and psychological capital;(2)The second part defines the core concepts and then points out the theoretical foundation of the study;(3)The third part talks about the experiment design.Divides subjects into interaction group,bibliography group and control group through questionnaire,carries out different intervention for six weeks,tests them with post-experiment questionnaire and then compares the two measured data.fo the three group,interaction group was given a reading list and asked to participate in reading interaction project,while the bibliography group just got a book list and the control group received no treatment;(4)The fourth part presents and discusses the results of the reading therapy from both quantitative and qualitative aspects;(5)The fifth part gathers data through interview,transcribes,numbers,and code relevant data based on the grounded theory,to explore the influence factors and model the mechanism of action of reading therapy;(6)The conclusive part teases the clew and summarizes all the contents,analyzes the shortages of this research and expects the future research orientation in the field.
