The research was using the reading therapy as a means of intervention,to explore the impact of reading therapy on College Students' anxiety.The subjects were selected by self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),according to the bibliography of College Students' common psychological problems recommended by the reading and mental health sub-committee of the Reading Promotion Committee of the Chinese Library Society and the experimental bibliography selected from the list of reading therapy books by Wang Bo,a famous scholar in the field of reading therapy.The experimental period was 3 months and was used interactive reading therapy.Members of each group(except the blank control group)are required to read at least one book per month on average;At the same time,the subjects were explained the knowledge of reading therapy,regularly hold reading symposiums,organized all members of the experimental group to listen to lectures on reading therapy,and conducted follow-up guidance through wechat,email,etc.The results showed that reading therapy has a significant effect on the readers of different gender with mild anxiety,and general reading intervention was more effective;Professional psychological reading materials were suitable for readers with strong learning ability and good reading habits,while general reading materials were more suitable for readers with strong perceptual cognitive ability and rich emotion.In addition,the author analyzed four typical cases,and put forward some suggestions to librarians and college students from the perspective of people,and put forward corresponding suggestions to the implementation of reading therapy and the improvement of reader service from the perspective of institutions.
