The progress of the globalization process makes the competition between the city intensified,the social media is the public to understand the city window,with a city to understand the bit,to understand the city people's life,economic,cultural,political development and progress,the city's good Image as the city "soft power",adding the weight of competition between cities.To create a good public opinion of the city environment for the city to build between the more easy to exchange and cooperation platform,so as to win the public understanding,expand consensus and enhance exchanges to provide an opportunity.City good image,not only reflects the city's charm and attractiveness,but also improve the city's reputation,reputation,attract talent,promote investment cooperation,economic development.The image of the city is shaped like a signal tower,constantly attracting the surrounding factors of production to be configured,and then the invisible spiritual wealth into tangible material wealth.Chongqing,the young municipality,the heavy history,given the Chongqing blood and tears,but also gave Chongqing a long and legendary cultural accumulation.Chongqing has always been committed to creating the image of history and culture,but these positioning for the development of a city is not enough,not only because of its historical background to simply locate it as a historical and cultural city,national,global City is too numerous to mention,how in a large number of historical and cultural positioning of the city to find their own unique positioning of the city,is the need to really think about the problem.The development of urbanization process for the city's construction and development provides more opportunities,Chongqing city image since the Jurisdiction has been constantly exploring and innovating.In achieving some achievements at the same time,there are many shortcomings: cultural positioning is not in place,the development of the brand is not perfect,interactive is not strong and so on.With the intensification of competition between cities,Chongqing urgently needs to bepositioned through the form of social media to promote public participation and improve the core competitiveness and influence of the city.At present,the social media advertising based on social media breaks through the propaganda and interaction of traditional advertisements.Based on the social media perspective and social media advertising as the breakthrough point,this paper makes a new study on the development of Chongqing city image.Based on the research method of communication theory and advertising,this paper analyzes the audience perception and communication effect of Chongqing city in the city image transmission,analyzes the current situation of Chongqing city image,The media in the dissemination of the problems,put forward strategic recommendations to enhance the overall image of the city,in the fierce urban competition,enhance the overall strength of Chongqing.
