The dissemination of media image in minority areas is an important issue in the study of national culture,and plays a positive role in helping people to understand and identify national culture."Internet of things" is the trend of development in China and even in the world in twenty-first Century.Various social media based on mobile phones have changed the habits of people's life,work and study,and cultural communication has entered a new era.Culture of ethnic minorities is an important topic of the national cultural heritage,the new media audience,precise positioning and communication efficiency better is the current and future development trend of media for the dissemination of national culture,to help people understand and identity of ethnic minority culture,to reduce the spread of the "cultural discount" phenomenon has a positive effect.At the same time,with the development of "ancient town" tourism culture,ethnic minority areas have also become the focus of tourism at home and abroad.The positive dissemination of media images in social media environment will help to attract tourists and promote regional economic development.Taking Fenghuang County of Hunan Province as an example,this paper tries to outline the media image of the minority areas in the new environment by analyzing the communication texts described in the image of WeChat public number.In the research method,we should use the macro and micro two latitudes to analyze.From a macro point of view,what will be discussed into the "boundaries" of the public number on Phoenix Town reports is a part of people's cognition.From a micro perspective,it explains how the authors choose and produce messages by analyzing the text key words and writing skills of the selected reports in Phoenix Town.Shen Congwen's "border town" let Phoenix Town become the hearts of countless people "literary pilgrimage" of the resort,and the Phoenix as a representative of the culture of Xiangxi,the local government in the propaganda on more regional media image has been formed as a blueprint,the media image of the comparison between national and other regions from more persuasive.At the same time,tourism is one of the pillars of the local economy.Understanding and properly adjusting the media image of Phoenix in social media will help to enhance the spread,credibility and influence of Phoenix Town,and look forward to the new media convergence of ethnic culture.
