In response to the state of local government to establish road maintenance system platform,and provide quality road service requirements for the businesses and people.In this paper,road maintenance needs are analyzed for the new requirements and challenges of the drawbacks of traditional road maintenance system.Current maintenance management system faced by an analysis of current existing road maintenance system,road maintenance system.The issue for the development of the characteristics of road maintenance system to(GIS)geographic information system,the first of road maintenance,GIS comprehensive analysis to establish the principle according to the database,to design and build a database of road maintenance system.By contrast the development tools and development mode,using Supermap secondary development platform,to solve the associated attribute data in GIS and spatial data,while the system key technology research,implement a login function of road maintenance system,common national and provincial trunk highway data management,inspections and examinations,daily management,small repair management,bridge culvert inspection,information gathering,assessment and road user password changes and other functions.Implementation of this system is capable of conservation officers using conservation information,reduce maintenance costs,and enhance the main highway service level of protection,the development of road conservation system has some reference and guidance.
