The natural gas pipeline network is a very important part of the urbaninfrastructure, the material foundation of the city for the development and survival. However, the number of years of natural gas pipeline information management, withmanual management, resulting in the management of heavy workload, low efficiency, low utilization of data, sharing the difficulties, it is difficult to form a pipe networkvisualization space. This backward way, restricting the construction, management anddevelopment of the city. To improve this situation, the use of GIS technology toestablish the gas pipe network management system, to explore outside the industrymeasurement-within the industry into a diagram-management model for integratedinformation management. The findings in this article are summarized as follows:(1) based on the storageprocess technology, system optimization. In summarized, packaged as a pre-compiledstored procedure, the client application logic processing on the database server, whicheffectively reduces the data traffic, improve the performance of management functions, and improve the security of the database, and to strengthen the the late systemmaintenance, to speed up the operation of the system.(2) natural gas pipeline networkmanagement system design and implementation. The main tasks include:①design andautomatic mapping function. Data can be outside the industry measurement, inspectionand warehousing, and automatically generate graphical data of the pipe network, establish topological relations pipe network management and analysis;②Therealization of the cross-sectional view of the form of the cross-section of the analysis, inthe floor plane failed pipe network equipment on behalf of entity of the relationshipbetween the expression level of the vertical surfaces, any part of the undergroundpipeline network equipment entity relationship embodiment, to facilitate thetwo-dimensional plane in the three-dimensional space, the observation target of the userintuitively;③The event processing subsystem and accident analysis and repairdevelopment, improve the efficiency of the gas scheduling and maintenance work.(3) In the the WinForm technical support, development and achieve a fast browser-basedmanagement information system for the natural gas pipeline network map.
