Research And Development And Applications In The Traffic Database And Prediction System Of The Trunk Road Network In Hebei Province

Traffic volume and original to destination (OD) traffic data represents the basic data structure for the traffic flow database, which is used for our country's research and decision analysis. This abstract is an analysis of our present road network, traffic flow and OD situations, in the analysis of the worldwide traffic situations and OD information systems, we find using the GIS systems traffic analytical tool Trans Computer Aided Design software (Trans CAD), a useful platform to build up a traffic information database for Hebei main road GIS information and network systems. This system will provide the information for key management in making strategies decisions for future development, structural analysis, key technical design, renewal, and maintenance techniques data. This abstract also take into considerations in providing timely, accurate information to other departments, such as road maintenance dept, research and design institutes; so that they can provide quality maintenance and quality services to the road users in Hebei.This abstract is an attempt to demonstrate the use of the existing database created by the Trans CAD software for the Hebei's Expressway network, showing the applications and the analytical tools of the systems createing excellent results for the users and the related departments.
