Design And Implementation Of Personnel Information Management System For Small And Medium-sized Enterprises

In the past,when the enterprise deals with their personnel information management,they always put the staff information in papers,and store them in the lockers.This traditional method makes lots of inconvenience,especially when the team becomes larger and larger.If someone in the company wants to read something about himself or herself,he or she should have to go to the office to have a face to face talk,or through the telephone.With a large number of staffs,the personnel manager have to spend lots of time on this,so they don't have more time to do the high-level study about the personnel information management.It's really necessary to develop a management system to solve these problems.The main research contents in this thesis are as follows:The thesis makes the overall requirement after an in-depth studying about the process of personnel information management,and having a detailed discuss with the staff of the personnel information department,and decide to develop a personnel information management system to suit the work.The system includes the following modules:role management,department management,employee information management,contract management,personnel management,leave management,system management etc.According to practice requirement,the thesis described the functional and non-functional requirement in detail.After that,it hammered out the system architecture design,system function design and database design;and provided code implementation process and the ultimate system interface;finally we did the overall test,the test stated clearly that the system reached the expected goal.The system is developed by using J2EE structure and Informix database.The employees of personnel department used to be bored by the problems are resolved by using this system.They don't need to do the repeated works day by day any more,and have more time to do high-level research about personnel information management.
