With the development of informatization construction and the promotion of the paperless office, the performance appraisal management work in Dongfang Electronics Company shows many problems, such like inefficient traditional management, laggard management mode, desynchrony of the training departments’ collaborative management, confused management of documents, certificates and files. In addition, although some departments have been equipped with computer-aided management of performance appraisal management, but due to the different assessment content as well as the work plan between the various departments and scopes are quite different, so we haven’n solved the problem of collaborative management between administrative department and the personnel management staff. So we need to design and implement a perfect and unified personnel management system to manage personnel work of Dongfang Electronics Company.This paper designed and implemented the personnel management system of Dongfang Electronics Company, using object-oriented concepts to conduct systems analysis, design and coding. Firstly based on the system needs, we used UML use cases analysis to analyze, and use case diagram to conduct a visual description; and then chose technical architecture based on needs analysis to design the functional structure of the system, and used class diagrams and activity diagrams to describe the detailed design of the function of the system, and we used SQL SERVER2005database management system to conduct the database design, and analyzed the relationship between the entity by E_R figure and finally designed the database table structure; the implementation of the system used the multi-tier architecture based on J2EE, and conducted to page coding by JSP technology. As a whole, we completed the personnel management system of Dongfang Electronics Company.The system implemented the functions including personnel management, training management, recruitment management, payroll management, and announcement management of Dongfang Electronics Company. Personnel Management mainly implemented the functions including entry, maintenance and inquiry of the employee information, training management implemented functions including entry, maintenance and inquiry of training program and staff’ applying to participate in training, recruitment management implemented functions including recruitment information release and processing of employing information, payroll management implemented functions including adding, querying and viewing the staff payroll information, announcement management implemented functions including the publishing and maintenance of announcement information, and provided an information platform for the personnel management of Dongfang Electronics Company.The implementation of the personnel management system of Dongfang Electronics Company basically meet the needs of the personnel management of the Dongfang Electronics Company. And the system implement standardization of the company’s personnel management and greatly improved the work efficiency and reduced the cost of management.
