The Responsibility Ethics Of The Media Report On Vulnerable Groups

The professional ethics of the media is concerned with the boundary problem of media behavior,but the Journalism has not reached a consensus on the discussion of the boundary problem,and the laws and regulations that guide the media behavior have not yet landed.With the rapid development of media technology,the media ecology and the way of information dissemination has long been changed,the media in the past concept of professional ethics,in the current media ecology has been unable to adapt,and therefore need “responsibility ethics” intervention and guidance,especially in the media report on vulnerable groups.The responsibility ethics of the media is concerned about the responsibility of media behavior,the media should not only further play the role of humanistic,but also listen to the voice of vulnerable groups as the social class increasingly fracture.In the media society,the social perception of vulnerable groups is deeply influenced by the media reports.In the process of judging the value of the media and the production of the content,the sense of belonging,trust and identity of the vulnerable groups is shaky,because the media are in value “The others” judgment in the orientation and the “The others” construction of the media content production,the lack of the media responsibility ethics is embodied in many aspects of the news production process,and the journalists put themselves as independent of the vulnerable groups in the process of reporting,Which leads to the anomie of responsible ethics,but also strengthened the social class contradictions,as the fuse of manufacturing risk.This paper based on the media reports of the “Ningxia Bus Arson Case”,Analysis the interaction between the media and the vulnerable groups,and finds out the way what the media influenced the evolution of the mentality of the vulnerable groups.This paper puts forward the disciplinary perspective of responsibility ethics,which aims to distinguish the traditional media professional ethics from the ethical perspective,made the media become the pressure reducing valve of the conflict in the risk society.The article argues that the media should pay the ethical value orientation of "forward-looking,preventive and holistic" emphasized by the ethics of responsibility to the disadvantaged groups,and on this basis,further explore how the media can play the responsibility ethics to realize the path of humanistic.
