The rise of every mass media in the history of human civilization such as newspapers,radio and television has unexceptionally brought major changes in the way information disseminated.With the development of Internet technology and the popularization of social media,especially We Chat and Weibo,public attention has greatly turned to cellphone screen,where not only changes in people's ways of life,social intercourse and communication have taken place,but the way journalistic practice executed has also been fundamentally influenced.Newspaper is momentarily positioned in the dilemma that young readers stop reading them and advertisement funds then following audiences' attention turn to social media platforms.Struggling for survival,newspaper put great emphasis on social media and strategically view Wechat and Weibo as important means for information dissemination.Hence,Wechat and Weibo have become significant channels in current journalistic routine in China,especially in aspects of news distribution and information collection.On the one hand,together with newspaper,Weibo and Wechat enhance the scope and speed of information dissemination.On the other hand,news peg and sources of newspaper are expanded taking advantages of large user-population in social media platforms.It has long been confirmed by various academic researches that the media organizations,journalists,press conventions and social norms etc.exert influence on media framework.But the journalistic practice evolves as media technologies develop continuously and news organization keep adapting themselves to new media platforms.Media frames therefore need to be re-discussed and revisited in the light of developments in journalistic area.In this context,this study is to conduct the analysis on the news release of "People's Daily" newspaper,Wechat account,Weibo regarding the 19 th CPC National Congress.The research date is set from October 11 to October 31.The purpose of the research is to discuss if the media platform is the influencing factor for media frameworks and the way information is organized and disseminated.After the content analysis of a total samples of 548,102 from Wechat,206 from Weibo,150 from "People's Daily" newspaper,significant differences are found in news release number,article length,content and news lead usage,main event framework,previous event framework,historical framework,the result framework,attribution framework,evaluation framework,title,text language and its style,news sources,authors,proximity,instantaneity,information simplification and interactivity.Hence,that the media platform acts as the influencing factor of the media framework and the way information organized and disseminated is proved,which is further supplemented for the existing theory of Framing under the background of the rapid development of new media and the constant reform of traditional media.
