With the rapid growth of information technology and internet, school library, influenced by humanistic psychology and constructivism, has been developing into a diverse learning and teaching place which is able to satisfy students'various learning requirements, and foster students'abilities in many aspects. Such a school library can be called learning center.This study uses the BC library of an international high school in Suzhou as a case to analyze the curriculum value of school library. Firstly, school library, as a learning center, possesses a variety of educational resources that meet the learning needs of teachers and students, such as human resources, print materials, digital resources, multimedia, and facilities. The next part discusses about the information technology used to manage and apply those resources, including Moodle page, Destiny library management system, Follettshelf and online databases. At last, with the support of modern technology and guidance of scientific educational theories, teacher librarian utilizes the resources to serve students'self-regulated learning and inquiry learning, and to cooperate with other school staff to implement different kinds of activities inside and outside curriculum, which cultivates students'literacy, information literacy and other key competences.In a word, as a learning center, school library not only has enough curriculum resources, uses advanced information technology, but knows well about the effective application of the resources and incorporates them into studeats'learning activities. Enlightened, school administrators and librarians can create a learning center that fits their school's characteristics and enhance students' 21st century skills.
