The Design And Implementation Of The Remote Monitoring System For The Elderly Living Alone Based On ZigBee Technology

In recent years,a lot of unattended elderly people due to sudden illness or accident,died for several days at home,but no one noticed them,such news more and more.This has aroused widespread concern in the community for the elderly living alone in this group.Elderly people living alone as a group of vulnerable groups,if they can be effective in real-time monitoring,we can avoid many similar incidents.Based on this background,this paper puts forward a remote health monitoring system for elderly people living alone.In this paper,the health data of the elderly and the living environment data as monitoring targets,combined with smart home and mobile communication technology,to realize the remote health care for elderly people living alone.First of all,this paper introduces the current research status and research significance of remote health monitoring system at home and abroad.Then,a remote health monitoring system based on ZigBee technology is proposed.Construction of TI CC2530F256 chip which has the advantages of low power consumption of wireless sensor network based on ZigBee selection system,combined with a variety of sensors to the elderly people temperature and ambient temperature and humidity data acquisition,monitoring environmental smoke and other harmful gases and the judgment of the elderly.The RT5350 development board is designed to connect the wireless network and Internet as the system gateway,to improve the serial port protocol for the data transmission and storage.Finally,the Android system is developed to monitor the remote client APP,which can display real-time data of sensors,receive abnormal alarm,and video surveillance by M-JPEG video streaming.Through the functional test and accuracy test of the system,the system can display the elderly body temperature data and environment data in real time,and timely warning the abnormal situation of the harmful gas and the elderly fall.The system test shows that the remote health monitoring system based on ZigBee technology has good stability,reliability and real-time performance.
