Debris flow is a destructive disaster which always happens suddenly with strong power and can hardly be resisted. At present, we are short of effective means of governance of debris flow disaster and the prediction of disarster is very difficult, so the establishment of monitoring and early warning system is currently a more effective way to cope with the disaster. In order to solve the shortcomings of the complexity of wiring and inconvenience of maintenance of existing systems, this paper uses ZigBee technology to design the monitoring and early warning system of debris flow in consideration of the demand of the the third corps of the Armed Police Hydropower Troops.This paper uses ZigBee technology to construct network nodes. Sensos for measurement is selected conscientiously based on the formation and feature of debris flow disarster. Upper monitor is developed in Android platform. Thus, the system constructs a multilayer network that impelements automatic monitoring and early warning of debris flow occurrence. In the system, the bottom layer consists of a number of sensor nodes, the middle layer is a data aggregation node and the upper layer is a mobile client.In the design of hardware, this paper uses wireless sensor CC2530 as the micro control unit with low power consumption, combined with RF chip CC2591 to improve the transmission distance and the reliability of data transceiver. The hardware develops the interface of the pulse signal,4-20mA signal and RS-485 signal to collect a plurality of monitoring parameters simultaneously. Rain sensors, vibration sensors, laser sensors and mud sensors are used to achieve real-time monitoring of the area prone to debris flow.In the design of software, wireless network realize the communicatin between network nodes based on ZigBee2007/Pro protocol. This article design the working way of CC2530 chip to achieve low power consuming. The working way of RF chip CC2591 is also designed to reduce the consumption of system energy. The software of client is developed in the platform of Android to achieve the purpose of receiving and restoring data of sensors. The client implements data trend analysis function that is convenient for the user to forecast the disaster situation.Each single monitoring mode and collaborative early warning means of multiple monitors are researched in the paper. The warning levels are divided to four grades to facilitate the work of warning to carry out.This paper carries on the test to the system finally. The system has realized the establishment of netword and network access function.And the transmission distance can meet the needs of the application basically. Function test shows that the function of acquisition and transmission of data works well. The client can achieve the functions such as data storage, trend analysis.
