In a hospital, the patient’s treatment and recovery are not only inseparable from the superb skills of a doctor, the care of a nurse, but also need to have a good and comfortable environment. In the hospital wards, temperature, humidity, light need to be controlled within a reasonable range. This is good for the patient’s health recovery. The operating room may need a harsh terms, and some even required not to have the slightest deviation of temperature or humidity within a reasonable range. So it is a very important task for hospital to monitor the medical environment in time.With the progress and development of technology, wireless technology become more convenient and practical, the development of the network has reached an unprecedented level. Remote monitoring can now be done on the medical environment area through these new technology. It is no need to send a person to monitor near the monitoring equipment and control it manually. Obviously, given the importance of monitoring medical environment in real-time, we have design the wireless platform based on Android operating system and ZigBee wireless protocol. The system can meet the requirement of monitoring temperature and humidity in real-time, support to send an alarm message when the data exceeds the threshold value, support to let people view the data through web browser or mobile terminal and be configured by the administrator through mobile terminal.In this paper, the work carried out in the following aspects:1. Research and understand the mainly technology used in the design of the wireless system. 2. Divided the whole system in some parts or modules depending on the implementation requirements.3. Design each part in detail. The part which has hardware should be designed or described from hardware aspect. The part which has software should be designed from software aspect. Completed the system function in a combination of hardware and software. This part of the work is the key point, occupying three chapters from the third to the fifth in this article. From the hardware aspect, I have designed the CC2530core board, coordinator baseboard and terminal node boards. From the software aspect, I have completed the terminal node application and coordinator application, Android application of Information processing and control side which including some NDK programming, Android application of mobile client, Web server application based on Java EE.4. Summarize the monitoring platform on the whole, proposing to optimize the inadequacy, determining the targets for further work.
