Due to climatic reasons, most cities in northern China are prone to cool, snowy weather, snow and the resulting accumulation on the road, overpasses and other road traffic safety for the inconvenience and security risks.Therefore, winter snow removal northern cities become a very expensive task of manpower and time.Artificial snow removal time-consuming, but also caused some traffic is not smooth phenomenon.This paper combines ZigBee technology, remote VPN technology, WinCC monitor screen and on-site sensor acquisition is proposed based on ZigBee technology snowmelt overpass spray remote monitoring system design ideological.When the snow scene, the staff can turn the field device through the VPN network to eliminate the use of WinCC snow monitoring interface.Staff know the scene while deicing liquid level, temperature and humidity and other parameters.Based on ZigBee remote monitoring system overpass snow spray to use its wireless features, saves wiring costs, saving labor costs, facilitate remote monitoring snow removal staff to achieve the timely removal of snow overpass.The design according to the site’s control and data acquisition conditions for considering the hardware development and cost, using technology based on ZigBee wireless sensor network technology, and Modbus protocol for a detailed study of the Modbus protocol with the ZigBee protocol conversion, wired to wireless upgrade.In this design, I completed the ZigBee chip selection, set the controller hardware and software design, WinCC monitor screen preparation, VPN network, on-site analog acquisition, conversion Modbus protocol embedding.
