The Conflict Of Women Resonate In The New Life Movement

In the new life movement the women's Periodical of the Kuomintang Women Resonate which for the purpose of "spread of knowledge" and "urging the government" has experienced three times, the period of positive publicity, ideological contradiction and radical opinion on public affairs. In these different times, Women Resonate had obvious change no matter in the publication layout, propaganda content, or the attitude of public opinion and direction of the women's movement.This paper mainly uses the text analysis method, comparative analysis method and statistical analysis method to research. On the one hand, the paper compared the Women Resonate in the before and after the implementation of the new life movement, which has made specific changes in the contents and directions of the women's movement in response to the policy and superior ideas. On the other hand, we make a comparison of the different period of Women Resonate in the New Life movement and research the magazine's expression of the struggle and compromise.It can be seen from these different periods that the attitude change of the magazine in the New Life movement as well as the euphemism strategy, is a dislocation of identity in the final analysis. Amongst multiple identities, the editors of Women Resonate most want to be recognized as the "national personality", which is not only the hope of their own, but also for the majority of women.Finally, the paper argues that the Women Resonate can provide a reference for the modern and contemporary women magazines of China. From the rich experience of running magazines accumulated from the difficult social environment, the concern of women in all walks of life and all classes, to the focus on social public and the appropriate speech strategy, these are of great significance to the modern and contemporary women magazines of China.
