The Research Of China Women The Monthly

China Women was founded by some members of China Women’s Aid Agency in1912in Shanghai and ceased published in July1913. At first it published8issues every ten days.Then it was reorganized as monthly and published4issues altogther. It was the offical newspaper of China Women’s Aid Agency and also one of the three women journals of advocate women’s participatory political drive. Although it was only published four issues,it had a very significant value. It was the important materials of study China Women’s Aid Agency and Women’s liberation movement in the early years of the republic of China,also an excellent template to study political newspapers development. It has an important siginificance that we study China Women monthly, not only from the perspective of feminism movement,but also from the angle of publication history in modern china. Feminest voices has been enlightened and inspried for female compatriots.This thesis try to make a deep study of the paper from parts.The first part probe into the social background of its publication.This newspaper is the inevitable outcome of the development of feminism movement in modem China,also the result of the combination of women newspapers and gender equality development.The second part use form and written narratives to inspect this paper, such ascolumns, print, publish and editors and so on.In this way it was displayed panoramically.The third part intorduce the content of paper from four aspects, it concentrated on universal education,revival industries and devoted to female policial affairs to achive democracy and republic from fiminism movement aspect,paper alaborate the basic condition that women must master their participate in government and political affairs.It expound the importance of gender equality and women political attention.This paper appealed women to struggle for theit education rights and industries development.It distinguished from other women papers by its unique education and industries concept.The fourth part analyze why it ceased only after several issues and influence of this paper.first,it records the difficult progress of women’s struggle for gender equal rights and it has an important historical date value.second, it propagates participatory theory in simple vernacular language. It is the most powerful propaganda tool in women’s participation in government and political affairs.Based on of China Women’s Aid Agency and China Women’s School, China Women take a distinctive position in political papers in the early years of the republic of china.it plays pivot roles and gives others women papers constant development,In a wors,it indoctrinates new veiws and thoughts for women in modern china and it is quite an influential women paper.
