Application Study Of QFD In ZSYM System Design Of EY Corporation

Some problems are exposed in EY corporation software product development process. Such as user needs analysis is not accurate so the software development phase needs to change frequently, the software development cycle is longer and user satisfaction is undesirable. ZSYM system project is the largest enterprise-class e-mail system. Given its importance on various issues EY company and the company's software development projects in the past has exposed, the need to establish a user-oriented software quality management requirements for the actual status of EY corporation.Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a quality management method for user needs. QFD using the deductive analysis of multi-level approach to user demand for software products development and design process is converted to a series of technical features. Meanwhile QFD market-oriented, in the product design stage, the product feature and availability are completely assessed, so as to achieve customer satisfaction.In this dissertation, EY company ZSYM system design for the study of the EY corporation software product development process and the status of research and analysis. For its problems, the use of the system design stage in ZSYM affinity diagram, analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and other analytical methods to identify and tap the real needs of users, in order to achieve standardization, hierarchical, quantitative analysis of user needs. By gradually building the house of quality, the user requirements are completely converted into the importance and target value of the technical characteristics in system design, from a user's language the conversion of technical language. Thus ensuring the user needs to be able to run through all phases of system design and development, so that the project technical staff to correctly understand the user needs. In the system design and development process technical staff can seize the core elements, the rational allocation and use of resources.Applied QFD in ZSYM system design effectively help EY corporation technical staff to accurately identify customer needs, improve product design quality and reduce the development process of design changes to reduce software development costs. Meanwhile applied QFD could improve software product quality, enhance customer satisfaction and increase market competitiveness of products.
