China has a large number of mountains and complex geological structures, so the geological disasters are relatively more. Especially in the mountains and hills in East China, North China, Southwest China, Northwest China and Loess Plateau, the landslide geological disaster is a common geological hazard. The existing landslide monitoring methods are high cost and with poor performance, which can't reflect the geology and alarm in time. With the development of science and electronics, designers in our country begin to study the method that how to use WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) technology to realize the intelligent monitoring of landslide disasters. Based on the requirements of real-time, intelligent and easy to use in the on-line monitoring system of landslide geological hazards, this paper presents a design for an online monitoring system for a small landslide.The designed on-line landslide disaster monitoring system is made up of sensor node, relay node and monitoring platform. The core processor module controls sensor nodes which include temperature and humidity sensors, displacement sensors and angle sensors to real-timely acquire the related parameters. By using WSN technology, the ZigBee wireless network is established by CC2530 and the detection data can be transmitted from the sensor nodes to the relay nodes. At the same time, the GPRS network uploads the detection data from the relay node to the remote monitoring platform. The designed system pre-analyses the detection data by the relay nodes. When there are abnormal data, the system can immediately and automatically send alarm messages. The monitoring platform is programming with Visual C#, the Socket is used to monitor and receive detection data from relay nodes through the GPRS network. This system uses SQL database, using B/S framework, combined with ASP.NET technology and MSChart control to build a data management website, to achieve data storage, hierarchical management, graphical display, query and other functions. In the site of the monitoring platform of data management, by calling the “Baidu map Java Script API”, the map display mode can be achieved. The status of each monitoring point can be shown on the electronic map in real time which makes the on-line monitoring of landslide geological disasters more vivid, intuitive and easy to use.In this paper, the landslide geological disaster online monitoring system based on WSN is designed according to the system design requirements. The system can achieve a variety of intelligent information, remote real-time transmission and remote monitoring. The whole system has the characteristics of low cost, easy to use, and visual image of the monitoring data display, which has a certain reference value for the design of landslide geological disaster monitoring system and the application of ZigBee wireless network.
