With the automotive development, it is becoming a kind of necessity in our lives,and protective traffic safety is becoming the focus of the society, In recent year offrequent geological disasters, many of cars have occurred disastrous accidentsbecause of lacking of constantly messages of disasters. In many kinds of existingmonitoring ways, some of them are based on station monitoring, it makes to send thegeological messages in first time to occupants. In view of these problems, this papermade a study about a series of geological disaster monitoring based onvehicle-mounted system.Wireless sensor network is a kind of typical way of monitor. Through the sensorcollects the information to monitor the geological information, and the zigbeetechnology applies on wireless sensor network which makes information’s locationmore accurate and mature, by monitoring of wireless sensor network to lots ofdisaster-prone, collecting the soil information, such as position moving,temperature,humidity, and pressure. according to the actual mountain information to analysisparameter factors, and build a series of predictable model in disaster time,and makethe analyze and simulation about predictable disaster time.To ensure road safety, the most important information needed to be known is thelocation of disaster happening, so this paper made a deep study about positioningalgorithm, and for outdoor monitoring system,its hardware and energy demands needto be considered,so choosing a kind of positioning algorithm-DV-Hop,and using thesimulation software to generate some random nodes,after that unknown nodes need tobe located.through the model is bult,generating the result of the simulation of referentnodes,and make the analysis of the positioning errors.To the shortcoming of the traditional DV-Hop algorithm,and positioning errorsanalysis find out which factors affect the positioning errors,and improving thetraditional DV-Hop algorithm,through analyzing the error factors,and get a newDV-Hop algorithm, after that,building a series of math models to generate positioningresults,through contrasting the positioning errors of tradition DV-Hop and newDV-Hop algorithm,getting the contrasting results and make the analyses.To achieve the design of system, in the paper,the main design is to the collectionnodes and assemble nodes in the wireless sensor network,of whose hardware andsoftware design,in the part of assemble nodes,the collection information will be handled and send by GPRS network to the vehicle-mounted display system,and theman in car can search the information of the current geological information through itwhen the alarm is ringing and can view the geological changing information.
