With the development of the economy, the living level and the health consciousness of people improved gradually, so the requirements of fresh products(such as fresh vegetables, meat and eggs) rised rapidly. However, because the popularization and application level of China's cold chain logistics technology is not high enough, the loss of these fresh products is largely in transport,therefore the safety of food is also not guaranteed. Thus, in order to meet the needs of modern society, the popularization and application of cold chain technology is imminent. Research shows that the key of cold chain logistics is a complete set of real-time temperature monitoring system. The conventional management that most logistic enterprises were taking is extensive which failed to guarantee to monitor the temperature in real time, which brings unnecessary economic loss for the enterprise and becomes an unstable factor of affecting the health of the general population.In order to solve these problems, this paper designs a cold chain logistics transport real-time monitoring system which is based on ZigBee network, GPRS wireless transmission and GPS. The system consists of three subsystems: vehicle terminal, communication network and monitoring center. The vehicle terminal equipment uses ZigBee nodes and various types of sensors to complete datas acquisition of vehicle and vehicle geographic information, The communication network achieves effective datas transmission which transfers the temperature and location datas to the remote monitoring center through GPRS network. Among them, the monitoring center mainly consists of the host computer software and database.1. The design of host computer is developed in C# based on Visual Studio 2010 platform. It received datas of GPRS through the Socket technology, and then it stored the datas into the database;2. The system database is designed by SQL Sever 2008, and the system links the database through ADO.NET technology;3. The communication subsystem uses the socket UDP, realizes the remote wireless communication through the GPRS network, and completes the vehicle terminal and the server datas exchange;4. Information display interface achieves the display of information through the Winform, and implement a variety of functions, including the inquiry about the temperature of transport vehicles, map query, historical track query and alarm information query and so on.After many tests, it shows that the system is stable and it can realize the function of real-time positioning and temperature monitoring in the range of allowable error, and the system can also achieve the expected effect of the design.
