There are a lot of special products which can be easily affected by temperatureand humidity, such as fresh food, vaccines and plasma. In order to ensure the qualityof these products, they should be saved in the ongoing cold temperature environmentduring storage, transport and sales. Being sensitive to the temperature and humidity,cold-chain products may be damaged due to unreasonable preserving environmentfrom production to sales. These products need to be kept in the cold and humidapparatus in producing, storing, transporting, selling. So monitoring the temperatureand humidity of these devices plays an important role for cold-chain products. Butnow most of cold-chain companies still rely on manual measurement in stead ofautomtical monitoring software, causing poor performance of real-time monitoringand inaccurate measuring data. Worse still, when abnormal circumstances occurs,users can not be informed in time and handle them. The monitoring system equipedby minor cold-chain componies is just for the fixed stroing sites. They don’t have asystem which can monitor cold-chain equipments moving in real time outdoor. Andthe current monitoring software can not adpat to data acquisition equipments addeddynamically, the software is lack of extensibility.In order to monitor the cold-chain products effectively, this paper designs andimplements cold-chain monitoring platform oriented mixed networks, which usessensors monitor the cold-chain equipments indoor and outdoor, taking advantage ofGPRS network, Wifi technology and Internet to transmit data. Firstly, according to thereal requirements in cold-chain monitoring, this paper analyses and designs thestructure and functions of overall system. The system is divided into multiple modulesindependently, monitoring sites navigation, data processing, alarm management, datavisualization and so on. Secondly, it designs data storing structure in database andfunctions in multiple terminals, aming at system extensibility designs the corresponding configurable file structure.Finally, the paper implements cold-chainmonitoring platform oriented mixed networks. The system is implemented in PCadopting B/S software structure with Java in MyEclipse. Monitoring applications forusers are implemented by calling WebService interfaces. Moblie ends use C/Sstructure to achieve monitoring services with Android, adopting Android PushNotification based on XMPP protocol to push alarming information.The best characteristic of this platform puts forward an applying architecturefor cold-chain monitoring, making a breakthrough in the quantity of the monitoringequipments, dynamically increases and reduces monitoring equipments withoutchanges to existing software structure. The platform has the good extensibility andreduces the repeated software development. It has some references for thedevelopment of cold-chain monitoring.
