In recent years, children's picture book market increasingly prosperous, picture books in the children's book market has occupied an important position.But behind the boom, we can see the picture book market is prosperity flourished on the basis of the introduction of the picture book.Especially in 2006-2008, more than 500 publishers have entered the field of children's picture books, stepped up the introduction of publishing the work of the outstanding foreign picture books.Moreover, China's original picture books for children in stock wave also gradually developed.Although not yet broken up the introduction of the picture book occupy the dominant position of the situation, but our original picture books have been steadily advancing in a positive exploration.In this paper,the research object is the original children's picture book.Through the review of the development of picture books can be found in China as early as the last century, it appeared in comic books represented by the traditional picture books, which can be said to be the prototype of the modern picture book.But the picture book is different from comic books, its overall coherence, diversity performance, graphic oneness are the unique characteristics of modern picture books.The picture book in Europe and other developed countries has been nearly a hundred years of history, and in our country is just beginning.By publishers, publishing institutions, folk picture book shop and other channels for the reading promotion,picture books are more and more understanding and acceptance, especially now after 80 young parents, to become the main force of consumption of picture books.Our original children's picture books is in the exploration and development,with the establishment of "Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award" and "HSIN YI PICTURE BOOK AWARD",encouraging more of the original author to deliver outstanding original children's picture books to the children's picture book market every year.The second chapter analyzes the general situation of the publication of original children's picture book,we can see that the publication of the original children's picture book full of opportunities, not only the quantity increased year by year and the quality is increasingly being recognized by readers.Future is bright, but the development of the road is tortuous.There are still a lot of questions on the content of the original children's picture books and publishing on the environment, such as lack of playful,graphic lack of integrity,lack of infant children's picture books,the introduction ones are the dominant.These problems have been plaguing the original children's picture book development.Faced with these problems, we will be targeted from the macro, meso and micro perspective proposed building measures.National support, the construction of the press,foreign experience of reference,these are the beneficial exploration for our original children's picture book publishing development.Therefore, it has certain practical significance.
