Peanut oil is a high nutritional value of edible oil, the quality of peanut oil is closely related to the safety and interests of consumers. These issues have aroused widespread concern in society, the relevant departments and enterprises have taken a variety of quality control measures and programs, but the effect is not good. In fact, these measures and programs have some limitations, they cann't effectively realize “prevention in advance”,“process controlling”, “afterwards controlling”. They cann't play an effective role in preventing the occurrence of peanut oil products before the accident, they are unable to realize real-time supervision and control in the process of supply chain, they also cann't accurately identify the source of where the accident hazard, then product recalling in order to control the damage scope and degree. The peanut oil supply chain traceability system can provide effective support for the quality safety management and hazard control of peanut oil products. In order to ensure the safety of peanut oil. Therefore, it is imminent to establish the supplychain traceability system of peanut oil.Based on the present situation of peanut oil market environment and the development status of X oil company, this paper established the peanut oil supply chain traceability system building goals. Detailed analysis of the specific functional requirements and non-functional requirements of traceability system. And then designed the overall architecture of the peanut oil supply chain traceability system, then detailed analysis of planting and harvesting information management,production and processing of information management, storage information management, transportation and distribution of information management, marketing chain information management these five modules, then design traceability coding. In addition, this paper also introduces the application of RFID technology in the process of tracing in the peanut oil supply chain in detail.
