Electronic control of diesel is regarded as one of the most important method to reduce the exhaust emissions, improve engine power and economy performance. The control strategy of ECU which is the core of electronically controlled diesel, directly affects the engine performance. With the development of ECU design patterns, in order to provide experimental data for control strategy optimization, it is important to record internal parameters of ECU in its development process. So in order to record the ECU internal parameters conveniently, a data acquisition system of electronically controlled diesel based on CCP protocol is established.After the survey of engine data acquisition system at home and abroad, according to the system general requirements and the overseas authoritative ASAP criterion, the system is mainly composed of data acquisition terminal and PC software. CCP protocol of the ASAP1 standard is used as the communication protocol of ECU and data acquisition terminal. At the same time, TCP/IP protocol is selected to connect data acquisition terminal and PC software, which is used to receive configuration file and send collecting data in data acquisition terminal. The CCP command of acquisition parameters is configured on PC software based on ASAP2 standard data description file, and data of CCP acquisition converted to physical values display and save based on ASAP3 standard.According to the demand of the system, terminal hardware circuit is designed. And a multi-threaded CAN driver is designed based on Windows CE operating system of data acquisition terminal, which can realize data reliable and rapid communication. Software in the PC is developed by Lab VIEW, modular programming is adopted to develop the software functions such as A2L file interpretation module, system parameter configuration module, CCP data display and save module. The system has a nicer man-machine conversation interface, facilitating the control of manipulator.Finally, in order to verify the system function, the data acquisition system is tested on engine simulator. The results of test indicate the system can meets the system requirements. At the same time, EGR control strategy and improved methods are illustrated, the data acquisition system is used in PID control experiment of EGR, and it verifies the system reliability.
