The technology of electronic control on engines has been used to achieve good performance of power,fuel economy powertrain as well as emission reduction.In order to attain the better work peformance,lots of calibration experiments need to be done in the progress of application and development of the electronic control system.As the function of the electronic control system has been continuously strengthened,the number of objects controlled has been gradually increased,a new better calibration system is needed to meet the requirement of the electronic control development.The calibration system is studied further for this purpose,then a general calibration system of the electronically controlled engine based on CAN is developed,which is mainly based on CAN bus KWP2000 protocol and composed of theECU,USB-CAN communication convert module and the calibration platform software. After an in-depth study based on CAN bus KWP2000 protocol, this dissertation made a deep analysis on the core content of the agreement and the process for the development of ISO15765 protocol. In order to ensure the system's versatility, many kinds of ECU are considered. The protocol ISO15765 based on address communication has greatly improved the system's scalability and versatility, and the USB-CAN module accomplished the high-speed communication between CAN bus and USB.Finally, this dissertation makes a discussion on the test method of calibration system, In order to verify the calibration system function, the calibration tests have been done in the spark ignition engine.The results of test indicate the system can attain expected target. In order to make the calibration platform software support the ISO15765 protocol, realize the calibration functions and improve the original software which showes the existence of shortcomings such as monotonous monitoring window, and a limited number.The calibration platform software is designed by using VC ++6.0, software with a friendly Man-machine interface, provides a rich visual data display, user-friendly interface and calibration of real-time data storage functions.
