The technology of electronic control on engines is used to achieve good fuel economy,driveability,as well as emission reduction.In order to attaining the better power and economic peformance,lots of calibration experiments need to be done in the progress of application and development of the electronic control system.As the function of the electronic control system has been continuously strengthened,the number of objects controlled has been gradually increased,a new better calibration system is needed to meet the requirement of the electronic control development.The calibration system is studied further based on this purpose, then a general calibration system of the electronically controlled engine based on CCP is developed,which is mainly composed of the ECU, USB-CAN communication convert module and the calibration platform software. The USB-CAN module accomplishs the high-speed communication between CAN bus and USB.MPC564 is used as core processor of the ECU,which integrates high computing ability with plenty of I/O devices specific for automotive control.The control software of ECU consists of the bottom software, application software and CCP Driver.This bottom software manages hardware resources and provides a real-time multi-task kernel,application software achieves control strategy based on this kernel,and the CCP Driver is responsible for protocol analysis.The control software is completed in Codewarrior Integrated Development Environment.This dissertation uses the UML software tool to model the function,static construction and dynamic act of the calibration platform software. With user-friendly interface,the software is easy to operate,which also provides a wealth of data show style and data-storage functions. In addition,the software also realizes the online and automatic calibration optimal function.In order to verify the calibration system function, the calibration tests have been done in the spark ignition engine.The results of test indicate the system can attain expected target.Now this system is applied to products development of J&K Technologies Inc.
