The Application Of The Pachet Transport Network In The Metro Transmission Network

With the thorough implementation of the strategy for full-service provision of China by mobile network operators,the originally supplied communication network cannot meet the need of business development,leading to the application of Packet Transport Network(PTN)in metropolitan transmission network.In present study,the PTN technology was specifically investigated,and PTN-based network was proposed according to the existing metropolitan transmission network and the development of mobile service,followed with the conclusion on the rules of PTN application.Then according to those rules,author initiated the design and implementation of Sanming's PTN-based mobile network,and put forward solutions to the emerging problems accordingly,which are expected to provide a reference for future PTN-based network deployment.In this paper,specifically,the technical characteristics of PTN and its application advantages in metropolitan transport network are first introduced.And then it is described in detail of the application model of key technique of PTN in the process of network design and configuration,followed with the implementation methods of PTN-based network according to the network structure,network management,resources distribution,network clock and protection.Finally the feasibility of PTN-based network is validated.
