NFC(Near Field Communication)technology has developed more than ten years. Intelligent terminals, such as mobile phones, PDAs and other equipments upgrading so fast, accelerate the promotion and development of the NFC technology as well. NFC can be used for fast mobile payment, file transfer, mobile phone Settings, intelligent applications, poster and so on, the technology has been very mature. It has a very big development prospect and the potential to become one of the standards of people's daily life.The wireless communication protocol have ISO18000, ISO 15693, ISO18092 and so on, and the ISO14443 communication protocol is still dominant on the market. The article puts forward a kind of Digital hard Core based on the ISO14443- A, which can be used in the NFC tags design. At first, the article reads the standard that proposed by ISO/IEC14443 Type, including four aspects such as the transport protocol, physical characteristics, RF power and signal interface, initialization and conflict prevention. The article gives the processes between NFC reader and tag for communication, especially anti-collision algorithm, and introduces the system that involves the command frame format.According to the design thought of from top to down, the article divided the system conflict prevention and response module, encryption module, authentication, read/write operation module and control computing module. Using Verilog HDL language to design the various modules, emphasize how data coding,decoding, and verifying, and the design of DES module. Moreover, the data communication of chips could receive signals, decode them in an improved Miller way, and code them with Manchester coding before transmitting. Using odd parity check and CRC cyclic redundancy check achieve data verification. About the results, carried out on parts of the module by the Modelsim software the RTL simulation. The RTL pre-layout simulation of revised Miller Decoder and Manchester Encoder testifies that encoding and decoding works perfectly and accurately, which meets the design requirments. The RTL pre-layout simulation of encryption module of DES indicates that DES encryption system works perfectly and accurately on encryption and decryption, which is compliance with design requirements.In this paper, the design of NFC Digital hard Core can be authenticated, and achieve ISE/IEC14443- A technical index of electronic tags.
