The author led Yuelu academy virtual reality development project team, through formal published map information, field aerial image, historical materials of academy, combining with the field measurements and texture sampling, using 3ds Max, Unity3D software, such as high accuracy of reconstruction of Yuelu Academy 3d virtual model, high simulation and simulation and rendering of virtual environments, and add the relevant graphic and image information, through the virtual roaming to activate these information.The value of the project research is to use the virtual reality technology to show academy culture.
