Research And Design Of Active Power Filter Driver Protection Circuit

Energy quality is an attention peoblem that was focused on research and conteol voltage and frequency in power system before.Now harmonic peoblem is more important and its effect to system is worse,so it should be balued,prevented and conteolled.Recdntly the method to press harmonic wave is application of power filter (PF),but it has a lot of disadvantages.This paper presents a new-tape device,active power filter(APF),which is with advantages,designs its main-switch components and tests drive and protection circuitAPF technology is developed based on instantaneous reactive power theory,PWM minx technology and modern electronics.The principle,classify,advantage and disadvantage are expatiated in this paper.The main circuit of APF is active convertor circuit that adopts large power electronic components as switch.Based on comparing some kinds components,this paper selects IGBT as switch and introduces the basic structure,principle,characteristic and parameter of IGBT to design the drive and protection circuit.Before the drive and protection circuit is designed,the basic demands of the circuit are defined and the basic form of the circuit is analyzed. Then the circuit is planned with independence compnenes,and over-voltage protection,over-current protection and superheat protection are planned. The integration drive chip,EXB841,is used as the foundation of the circuit and some shortcomings of the circuit are improved,which is made to drive and protect single slice IGBT finally.The results of drive simulation,permanence and instantaneous over-current fault simulation by Multisim 12 prove the utility of the circuit.An actual circuit is realized in this paper. Above all,appropriate IGBT is selected in term of planning demands and parameter,and then main circuit,drive and protection circuit are designed with the IGBT. The results of simulation and test prove that the circuit runs normally.
